Aloha and welcome to Ohana Breeze at the Caravelle — a Myrtle Beach condo stay built for family (“ohana”) energy: easy mornings, pool-and-beach afternoons, and evenings that end with sandy feet and full hearts.

This lookbook is a public guest guide. You’ll find the vibe, how the home generally works, house rules, and local picks for food and fun. Private details (exact address/unit, entry codes, Wi-Fi, parking stall or permit) come only after booking through Airbnb/Vrbo messages.

Stay at a glance

How the home works

Friendly, generic how-tos — no secrets.

• Arrival: Follow your private pre-arrival message for building and unit access. Keep codes off social media and out of public reviews.
• Settling kids in: Unpack snacks first, find the bathrooms, then scout the pool deck — one of the building pools is almost always open.
• Climate: Run A/C with doors closed in humid months. A comfy sleep temp helps little ones (and grown-ups) recover from beach days. At checkout, leave A/C / thermostat at 72°F.
• Kitchen: Family meal central — use what’s provided; wipe crumbs (ants love beach condos). Run the dishwasher before you go.
• Laundry: Coin laundry in the building (not in-unit) — great for towels mid-week; shake sand outside first. Bring coins/payment as noted in the private guide (no codes listed here).
• Entertainment: TV with Sling TV streaming. Bring your own logins for personal accounts.
• Beach gear provided: Beach chairs, sand umbrella, and boogie boards are available for guest use. Please rinse sand off before storing and leave them tidy for the next family. Extra pillows are not provided.
• Living / sleep spaces: Please don’t rearrange heavy furniture or block exits.
• Building amenities: Shared pool, hot tub, and gym for guests — follow posted hours and building rules. Wristbands, guest limits, and any seasonal closures are in your private arrival message.
• Beach days: Use designated walkways. Rinse sand before hallways and elevators.
• Cameras: Follow the listing for any exterior/common-area cameras. No indoor cameras in private rooms.
• Help: Message us on Airbnb/Vrbo for stay issues. For fire/medical emergencies, call 911.

House rules

1. Ohana includes the neighbors — quiet hours matter; balcony voices carry. Follow building/HOA quiet hours.
2. No parties or events, and no overcrowding beyond the reservation guest count (max 4).
3. Pool & amenity rules (if open): no glass in pool areas, watch kids at all times, follow posted hours — lifeguards may not be present.
4. No smoking indoors; outdoor smoking only where building rules allow.
5. House towels stay inside; bring or buy beach towels for the sand (or use provided beach gear appropriately — chairs/umbrella/boogie boards, not house linens).
6. Shoes/sandals with sandy grit — kick them at the door mat.
7. Trash in proper chutes/bins only — never in stairwells.
8. Don’t prop secure doors open for convenience.
9. Stream responsibly — don’t download huge files that choke building Wi-Fi for everyone.
10. Leave the place as you’d want the next family to find it.

• Summer family rhythm: Beach early, pool or indoor attraction mid-afternoon, boardwalk or mini-golf after the heat breaks.
• Thunderstorms: Common in summer afternoons — exit the water and open beach at the first rumble; metal umbrella frames are lightning magnets.
• Rip currents & kids: Coast Guard/NWS flag systems matter. Coast Guard approved life jackets > cheap floaties for weak swimmers. Designate a water-watcher adult (phones down).
• Sun: Reef-friendly SPF, hats, and UPF shirts save the trip from burn-outs on day one.
• Shoulder seasons: Often the sweet spot for families — milder temps, shorter attraction lines.

Is there really a pool?
Yes — shared building pool, hot tub, and gym. Confirm hours and any seasonal notes in your private amenity message; follow posted rules (no glass; watch kids — lifeguards may not be present).

Do you provide beach chairs / umbrella / boogie boards?
Yes — beach chairs, sand umbrella, and boogie boards are provided. Extra pillows are not provided.

Is laundry in the unit?
No — coin laundry in the building only (not in-unit).

Can grandparents get a quieter room assignment?
Condo layouts are fixed; we can’t reassign walls. Pack earplugs for light sleepers and use quiet hours for the whole ohana’s sanity.

Are day guests allowed at the pool?
Building rules often limit unregistered guests. Don’t bring extra friends to amenities without checking the private rules note.

Early check-in with tired travelers?
Request in-app. We’ll say yes only when cleaning is done — never wait in a hallway blocking elevators. Standard times are 4:00 PM check-in / 10:00 AM checkout.

Strollers & elevators?
Expect elevators in mid/high-rises; fold strollers if cars are crowded. Sand + elevator thresholds = wipe wheels.

Lost at the beach?
Pick a landmark and a phone number kids can recite. Our contact is through Airbnb/Vrbo — teach kids to find a lifeguard or nearby family if separated.
